No. We are an independent housing provider and are not owned or operated by the Department of Veterans Affairs. We collaborate with organizations that serve veterans.
What does Haven Foundations do?
We partner with property owners to secure quality housing, furnish homes, and provide professionally managed housing for veterans referred through partner organizations.
Who do you serve?
Our primary focus is veterans referred by VA programs, HUD-VASH case managers, SSVF providers, social workers, and other community partners. Depending on availability, we may also provide housing for other qualified professionals.

Do you charge veterans for referrals?
No. Haven Foundations does not charge veterans or referral agencies for referrals. We work with referral partners to connect eligible veterans with available housing.

No. While we work closely with referral partners, referrals are not required for every housing opportunity. Availability and eligibility are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Are there house rules?
Yes. Haven Foundations is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and well-managed living environment for all residents. While each home may have additional community-specific guidelines, our core standards include:* Zero tolerance for illegal drugs or illegal activity within the home.
*Respect for fellow residents, neighbors, and the property.
*Designated quiet hours to promote a peaceful living environment.
*Routine property inspections, conducted with proper notice and in accordance with applicable state and local laws.
*Regular communication with case managers and referral partners, when applicable.
*Prompt reporting and resolution of maintenance issues and behavioral concerns.
